  Since the new management have taken over the Redan post office had become impersonal and the new manager is always rude, with no interest in positive customer service. The previous staff used to greet you by name and provide service with a smile.

  Dropped in to post a very small "letter sized" 70gram parcel. Inside was a handful of surgical face mask that i was sending to my elderly mum. I asked the man behind the counter to weigh the small parcel and give me the least expensive method to post it to Dimboola. The man would not weigh the parcel and insisted it would cost me $8.95 for regular post. I knew that this was a very inflated price so i declined. Later i went to another Post Office and went through the same routine. This Post Ofiice was awesome. They charged me $2.20 which is a huge difference from the $8.95 i was quoted at Redan. Won't be going back.

  Redan AUSPOST are probably the worst in Australia. The do not care whatsoever about their job or the people they are serving.
  I had a $200 parcel with a signature required pickup delivered to the post office. They gave the parcel away to a random person who they did not ask for a signature, ID check, phone number or name. Just gave it away. Their response was "yeah must've been a mistake then". They were very very rude and could not do anything.
  
  I stood in the post office for 40mins watching how they collect and give out parcels. In that 40mins, they aske 1 person for information. ONE PERSON!!!!

  Great friendly service with a smile. Lainey and John are always so helpful. It can get very busy but I have never felt rushed.

  Very much agree with some other reviews. The staff are rude and never answer the phone. Blonde guy who I think is the manager really doesn't seem to like his job or people for that matter

  This is the best post office in Ballarat. Usually always friendly and easy to deal with.
